However if experiments are being carried out for the sake of wealth/fame/honor then these would be external goods and not as worthy. Predetermining a person’s life demonstrates extreme hubris on behalf of all involved in creation – even those who would do nothing other than allow it. Even if for the sake of a greater good, human cloning could not be seen under these circumstances as a virtuous procedure. With any possession without direct concept, design, and intent of creation by a lone individual there is an unclear issue of property ownership.
